Namor the Submariner

Red Vulcan™ - King Namor McKenzie, a.k.a. the Sub-Mariner, is the ruler of Atlantis. Born as a hybrid mutant son of a human ship captain Leonard and the Atlantean princess Fen, Namor's first interaction with the human world came when he joined the Invaders to fight against the Axis powers during World War II. After spending years as a homeless amnesiac, Namor was discovered by the Fantastic Four and reclaimed his identity and his kingdom.

Since then, Namor has been both foe and ally to the surface world, allying himself with heroes such as the Defenders and X-Men and villains like Dr. Doom and the Cabal, for Namor's true allegiance is always to Atlantis and its people.
