Michael Hutter (1963 – ) is a German artist, known for his unique style that blends classical and contemporary techniques. His work is situated in a nebulous zone on the borderlands of fantasy, science fiction, and Surrealism. He creates lush paintings of strange worlds that feature elements of fantasy, religion, science fiction, pop culture, horror, and more. Hutter’s art technique involves traditional methods like oil, tempera, and watercolour. He also uses dipping pens for his ink drawings and etching for his graphic works.
