Andi Seltzer grew up in Chicago, Illinois. She was a top student in the A-1 Correspondence School in the Dental Technician Program. Her letters to Von Derzahn were filled with obvious overtones of affection that the good doctor could not ignore. He soon hired her to work at his Chicago office, and soon became his personal dental assistant.
