Rootveined is a fine-tuned style model that renders any creature
Rootveined teaches a consistent anatomical rule rather than just a style: any creature shown mid-transformation, with pale bark growing outward from the joints in irregular, root-like tendrils that thin naturally into fur, feather, or scale. No closed rings, no amputation-like bands — organic, frayed growth that belongs to the animal. Fine glowing gold veins trace through the bark's cracks, and every subject shares one signature: a hazel-brown eye with a single branching golden vein toward the rim.
Early attempts either read as a manufactured leg-brace or over-covered the limb entirely. The rule that worked: bark confined to a small zone at each joint, covering under a quarter of the limb, with clear fur visible above and below.
Use it for photorealistic wildlife or fantasy portraits with a quiet, mythological transformation.

Usage guide

Keep bark limited to a small zone at each joint, thinning into fur within centimeters - avoid closed rings or full-limb coverage. Add hazel-brown eyes with a golden vein and glowing gold cracks. Best with photorealistic prompts.

Optimal prompting keywords

We recommend using these trigger words when prompting Rootveined to get the best results:

  • xylandris, root-like bark, gold veins, hazel eyes
