In 1322 B.C., Pharaoh Neferkha, wielding the divine Heart of Apophis, has conquered the southern Mediterranean. Now, his sights are set on Anatolia and Greece. The Greek gods, fearing his rise but bound by the threat of Horus releasing the Titans—beings powerful enough to overthrow Olympus—send a divine message through the Oracle of Delphi. The Pythia, ancient and wise, summons Kallistratos, the greatest of Greek commanders. He rallies Athens, Sparta, Thebes, and all of Greece, along with Etruscans, Latins, Nubians, and exiled Phoenicians, forming an unprecedented alliance. This mighty force crosses the Mediterranean and battles Neferkha on the Giza Plateau. Under a darkened sky, mechanical beasts and warriors clash in an epic struggle. At dawn, Neferkha falls, and the Heart of Apophis is sealed away in the depths of Lake Avernus, at the gates of Hades, beyond mortal reach.
