we are too lazy to really deal with "life as imminent death" and fill our days with other things
the Cháruli are infinitely productive, but to them it is just a consequence of their unwavering focus on "their end" and the motivation that gives them
they also place little value on individuality and so everything they do is part of a collective whole, without the distractions of personal achievement or glory
