Lord Curt Custen ancestor to the current Lord Custen. Curt Custen was a brilliant navel strategist and had won many victories for the kingdom of Rosefall against its nearby competitors. One fateful day Curt's ship was caught in a storm and was eventual washed up on a mysterious island. Whilst Curt's men tried to get the ship back into the ocean, Curt decided to explore this strange new land. After sometime Curt ran out of the islands dense forest frantically. Once he arrived home to the island fortress he built years before, he began to spend an unusual amount of time in his library. His servants started hearing him shout and scream about other lands, he went to court to try and convince the king at the time to send a fleet to conquer these new lands. However the king believing beyond the horizon was the edge of world and denied Curt his fleet. Curt then stayed in his fortress home until his passing believed to have been driven mad by seeing the edge of the world up close.
