Before the war with Mark, Lord Trap Tapper sided with his king and other lords against Lord Curt Custen's request for ships to be sent beyond the horizon. At the time he thought to himself that if what Lord Curt Custen was suggesting was true then it might lead to a religious revolt within the kingdom.
