If these two are in a relationship/married, I can tell that the woman is the dominant one. She barks orders, belittling him at every turn. When he attempt to confront her she immediately employs the DARVO effect. Deny, Attack, Reverse, Victim, Offender. She denies what he is saying about her, then she attacks him by viscously attacking his character, thus reversing the conversation. Now the victim goes on the defense, classic narcissistic behavior. If you ever encounter this with a partner LEAVE. I adore the painting. The characters are full of emotion and the scenery is sublime.
