I had the same problem as you do here - trying to convince the AI how a waterwheel is supposed to work. Yesterday I tried to make an image of an 18th to 19th century milkmaid milking a cow but it wouldn't work. It occurred to me that NC considers a cow's udder to be obscene. So I switched and tried to getting her churning cream. The results were bizarre and then I thought maybe the AI doesn't know what a churn is. Sure enough, when I tried a prompt with only old-fashioned butter churn, it made some strange contraptions with butter sprayed all day over. 😳
