Done in the new "house style" for the football novel. Riley is a trans boy, and I wasn't sure whether the AI would give him a pronounced Adam's apple, but it did, and I just read that someone who's been on hormone treatments as long as Riley has when we meet him (four and a half years, starting at age 11 or so) can have a pronounced Adam's apple just like someone born with an XY chromosome pair.
So ... cool. He was a little more effeminate in the earlier renditions, but this rings truer. And the shaving cream and razor nicks motif fits a character who wants so desperately to be seen by everyone as just an all-American boy who loves football.
