Dreamscape: A Walk With The Plague Doctor

"Somehow in my quiet contemplation, I drifted into peaceful slumber. Next thing I knew, I was stuck on some reeds along the border of Lake Erie. The night was all eerie-like, with that full moon castin' a strange green glow. There, standin' in a puddle near the shore, was this figure—a plague doctor, all decked out in old-timey gear, like he just stepped out of a history book. He was mutterin' to himself, eyes locked on this old ship sittin' abandoned on the lake. I couldn't resist creepin' closer, tryin' not to disturb the water. But as soon as I made a move, he spun 'round quick, holdin' a broom and a wand like he was ready for anythin'. Warned me not to step closer or else risk sinkin' into who knows what. Then he goes on about treasure, swearin' to escort me back to town if I help him recover what he lost from that ship. He flicked his wrist and some kind of magical dust enveloped me.
