Hello everyone!

Big congratulations to the winners and also to all the participants--there were some amazing images that made it to the bottom of the leaderboard. And not because of downvoting, but because of the overall quality.

And, speaking of voting in general, we are very sad to see that, once again, a wonderful move by NC was _cancelled_ within a very few hours.

With the timeout in the voting procedures, NC had succeeded in killing two birds with one stone: finally forcing rapid-fire clickers to look at images before voting for them and at the same time discouraging downvoters.

But no. Once again, quantity over quality was favored. While it is true that quality is an art site's best friend, it is also the Enemy Number One of a social network.

A great decision (finally in the name of art) was taken back less than 24 hours later.

See you tomorrow with the "old system." Long live social networks, boo to quality.
