Chief’s answer: “I knew you would say that. Which is why I offer you something extra. In addition to the usual pay, you will be able to claim the hand-in-marriage of one of the lady soldiers you have rescued.”

You could hardly believe what you just heard. “Surely you jest.”

“This is no joke,” responded the Chief. “I know you are in the market for a wife. After all, you are looking to start a family, sire a son whom you will pass your mantle to.”

“And why would I take to wife any of these dumb bimbos? Anyone who would sign up for your propaganda outfit can’t be all that bright,” was your response.
