Hey, thanks for the comment (and the tip). What I'm trying to represent with this series of paintings is Hell as described in the Divine Comedy (Divina Commedia) by Dante Alighieri. Each painting represents an infernal circle and the punishment the sinner receives. I have included a short summary of the punishment in the description, as I know that not everyone is familiar with the work.

My compliments for having brought to a new life the immortal Gustav Doré's etchings for our Sublime Poem.
