Glad to hear it. A few days ago there was a challenge about "Pulp Fiction" (and they didn't just mean the Quentin Tarantino movie from the 1990s). I started thinking about the possibility of doing a "Doc Savage" picture, and while I missed the deadline for that challenge, I eventually ended up with this. I've read a bunch of reprints of his old pulp stories. Doc Savage was big, strong, heroic, and brilliant at all sorts of scientific subjects -- but understanding women well enough to get romantic with them did not seem to be one of his strengths, so I'm working on the theory that he modestly assumes any proper young lady will *resent* the necessity to be snuggled up against his big, muscular frame for any great length of time.

Doc Savage, one of the larger-than-life pulp heroes from the Nineteen Thirties and Forties, finds himself having to rescue yet another damsel in distress. I think he's going to take a running start and leap to the next rooftop over, and so forth. Naturally, he's a little embarrassed by a situation where he has to carry a grown woman as if she were a small child. Oddly enough, she doesn't seem to mind . . .
