Stewart Edmondson (? – ) is a British contemporary landscape artist. His large-scale mixed media and watercolour paintings feature in fine art collections around the world. Stewart is a plein air artist, working mainly outdoors, painting quickly and dynamically. He draws his inspiration from the light and energy of the place he is working in, constantly finding that the painting is an alchemy between him and the place. Rain, wind and light will all often contribute to the mark-making and can have a major effect on the painting.
