The blanket term "Men" .... a remnant of a patriarchal society. Then "people" is the better choice.

Yes. Everybody. No matter what label they put on themselves. Yes, there are. Violent criminal thugs, gang members, killers, pedos, etc, are definitely less human and less worthy of certain rights, freedom included.
