The melted snow clumped together emerges out of acidic toxic sludge keeping it from melting into white thick goop but turning into something that is not snow, no something organic the humanoid snow creature hobbled away in the unforgiving mist in a rage like frenzy as the muffled distorted howls of anguish can heard from the distance.
