Alexis is the Female lead for my story, she's the daughter of the former king of her kingdom, and was forced to flee after she over heard her uncle's plan to assassinate her. the story is war motivated and about her trying to get her throne back for the sake of her people.  she's blunt, sharp and distrusting, as well as an excellent swordsman.

Solstice (also known as Victor for complicated reasons) is the male lead, he's a hunter who grew up on the outskirts of her kingdom with his adoptive father. they encounter each other almost immediately after she flees and he chooses to help her based on recognizing her from an incident when they were kids-- safe to say it turns his life on its head really fast. he's sweet and overly compassionate, but also sarcastic and cheeky, they play really well off of each other and i could talk about them all day.
