This is a species of Vard from the planet Lhamina. It's called the "Erlop" Vard because of the strange noise their ears make as it hops along. They eat mainly the stems of the sasolp bush. They can inflict a nasty bite that often carries a flesh eating bacterium. They are usually not much bigger than a house cat but I would probably stay away from them.
