"The shepherd saw you take their shoes and make them run
Barefoot across the field, to play your nasty fun.
You said you simply walked them through, but I don't think it's true.
The people gossip: to the dogs their flesh you threw!"

"Oh daughter, how could you make such an accusation?
Do you really think I'd commit such a foul action?
The shepherd lied - I took no clothes, he's got it all wrong.
But the rest he told true - that villainous dog!"

Suddenly the miller grabbed his shotgun off his back,
"Leave the sheep, shepherd - you'll walk the field barefoot in a pack!"
He shot the boot up in the air with skill and aim,
Then shouting "Take him!" let his vicious dogs off chain

Remake of my first serial killer poem:

Two detectives came to the miller's house one day,
In the field some strange remains recently did lay.
They asked him to take them there and reveal what he knows,
And if he knows anything more - the whole story expose

"The times have grown quite strange in these parts of late,  
Our neighbor disappeared without a trace.
Our stable hand's sister went missing without a track,  
And now even our priest has vanished without a face."

With a sigh, father said "I'll walk our guests today,
Through the woods to the field, along the forest way"
And off he went, taking the dogs just in case.
Returning at night, he collapsed in bed's embrace!
