A few steps further (about ten meters, for me) I found another house carved out of a root. It was beautiful: the door was ornate, and the glass embedded in the wood shone like crystal (and maybe it was!).

Mushrooms of the most varied shapes grew everywhere, making it almost indistinguishable from its surroundings. It was topped by a recent addition (moss had not yet arrived there), also made from the wood of the tree root.

It was beautiful. In excitement, I took a flurry of photographs.
