The Cloaked Comforter

Many times throughout her young life—whenever a grief or sorrow of some kind or other threatened to undo her, threatened to bring her down for good—a silent, mysterious green-cloaked appeared in her dreams, and his presence was a welcome comfort to her. Even though the stranger did not speak, his mere presence brought her comfort. However, as she grows older and experiences other trials and heartbreaks, her mysterious comforter isn’t there to help her navigate her grief and sorrow. Where has he gone? Why isn’t he there? Will he ever come back? In the end, Jahrra discovers the identity of the stranger and she is shocked by who it is. At the same time, that revelation of his identity brings her great joy and helps erase the lingering depression, grief, and sorrow of Jaax’s death. Her mysterious cloaked stranger is none other than… Jaax himself in his restored human form as Prince Aeron Sohliendis, the King of Oescienne.
