Midnight: Chapter one

"Mina!" my mom called one morning. "Time to wake up!" she said. I raised my arms above my head and stretched. Ever since we moved here 2 weeks ago, I have been sleeping horribly. I decided to change out of my ugly white pajamas and get into my new school uniform because today was my first day at a new school. It actually looked pretty good on me! I then started to brush my long pink hair and when I was done, walked downstairs to eat breakfast of fruit and yogurt. It was absoloutly delicious. But before I knew it, my mom was shooing me out the door because aparently I was going to miss the school bus.
