Here's their story:
The P-Punksters were an underground alternative post-punk music duo active in the 1980s. Consisting of two young women whose real names were never known -- they simply went by the names Pink Punkster and Purple Punkster, and some said they were sisters -- they made their debut in 1981 with the single "Don't Tear Me Up" in which they used a sparse rhythm and a few electric guitar chords, along the lines of the Ramones to whom they were often compared.
