Dared to go in

This wasn't supposed to be a pool party. Everyone was gathered early for a pre-party before the party bus arrived to take them to concert. She spied the pool the moment she arrived and it wasn't long before she went over to investigate. As soon as her friends saw her by the pool that's when the questions began. Someone asked if she was going to jump in? The thought had crossed her mind, but she'd be wet the rest of the night. But it was so tempting. She responded, "maybe if someone dares me to go in." Immediately someone dared her. She could hardly contain her excitement. She sat down on the edge and stuck her feet in. The tall boots she was wearing kept her from getting wet so she slipped off the edge onto the underwater bench. Still she hadn't gotten wet so she waded over to the steps and began going deeper into the water. Finally she swam back over to the bench and climbed back onto it to stand up. She giggled as water poured from her clothes. This was going to be quite a night!
