My latest depiction of a Nigerian mermaid. (I've done this a few times before.) My assumption is that she is interested in the surface world, and tries to maintain something of a social life, but she has to keep her smartphone hidden on this reef in a watertight container because it wouldn't work very well at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. Incidentally, I used the facial features of Nigerian actress Chizzy Alichi.

Nigerian Mermaid Lounging with Smartphone, Photorealistic 8K
A photorealistic image of a beautiful Nigerian mermaid relaxing on a reef. She has blue scales, a matching tank top, and is using a smartphone while above the Atlantic ocean.
