Nothing Else to Lose

As he staggered through the charred remains of what was once a vibrant civilization, Cuāuhixahuac felt the weight of his ancestors on his shoulders. Memories flooded his mind — the vibrant colors of the marketplaces, the laughter of children as they played, the warmth of his family gathered for sacred rituals. Now, those memories danced like shadows in the smoke, and he was left with nothing but despair.

Cuāuhixahuac clenched his fists, feeling the familiar grip of his obsidian blade — his constant companion through the battles of life. He was born to fight, forged in adversity. He would fight the gods with his naked hand if necessary if they were the ones who did this. He had nothing else to lose.
