Bruno, the zoo's resident "artist," surveyed his magnum opus with a flourish. The normally gray elephant, Tusk, now sported a vibrant rainbow afro courtesy of the "brighten the zoo" initiative.
Apparently Tusk didn't appreciate the artistic freedom. With a disgruntled trumpet, it charged into the nearby peafowl enclosure, sending a flurry of feathers and indignant squawks in its wake. As it vanished into a dense fog, Bruno watched in horror. Poof! Tusk disappeared.
"Oh, no," Bruno whimpered while clutching his paintbrush. "I just painted a living Van Gogh into a cloud! How do I explain this to the zoo director?"
He sighed, already picturing the headlines: "Local Artist Paints Elephant Into Oblivion. Claims 'It Was Just a Phase.'"
