EPISODE 5 — The Pattern
Maeve and Ingrid widen the investigation beyond a single parish and begin comparing unsolved disappearances from across South Louisiana.
What they find changes the scale of the case.
Several women vanished between 1984 and 1991 along the same highway and river corridor. Different towns. Different years. Different witnesses.
But the same details keep returning.
Room 214.
The dark pickup.
The damaged rear light.
The payphone.
02:13.
And the name Vale.
Then Maeve notices something buried inside three separate files: Vale Industrial Services.
None of the missing women worked for the company.
None of them had any official connection to it.
But somehow, Vale Industrial keeps appearing wherever the disappearances do.
For the first time, Maeve and Ingrid stop looking at isolated cases.
They are looking at a pattern.
