As I learn more about the myths and folklore of West Africa ... Queen Moremi lived in the 12th century, and she was a hero to her people. Many of the citizens were enslaved, and had to endure violent raids. So she offered herself up to be captured and enslaved by the raiders, to find out their secrets, which she eventually did. She was able to escape, return home, and tell her people the intel they needed to defeat the raiders.

As soon as I open the door I feel I’m the one judged. Miss Yvette Hanson, worked previously as a teacher, a matron and it appears most recently as live in tutor and mentor for a wealthy family with twin daughters.  I can sense she is used to being in charge. One of our older applicants. I can see immediately why Lucy shortlisted her but I’m nervous about expecting her in uniform.
