Seedream 4.5 outperforms other models, delivering excellent 4K output and even better results at 8K. While it has some limits, it’s highly effective for most users, and JSON prompting runs smoothly.
JSON prompts produce precise, high-quality results—I’ve even won challenges using them. In comparison, Flux feels outdated, with LoRAs adding unnecessary complexity and often causing unnatural textures. Overall, JSON prompting is a cleaner, more reliable approach and likely the future for modern models.
Remains the best overall model on NightCafe for price, capabilities, and image quality. (Unfortunately, Nana Banana Pro and GPT 1.5 do not work as well in NightCafe as they do in the Gemini Pro and ChatGPT Plus app subscriptions, and they are overpriced.) Seedream 4.5’s multiple start image support and outpainting capabilities are easy to use and the ultra resolution quality is so good it’s hard to improve on it using the clarity Upscaler most of the time. My favorite go-to model.
I'm not that enthusiastic. The images can also be produced very nicely, artistically, and with great detail using other, much cheaper models, for example, currently with Flux, which offers many possibilities.
🙄 Unfortunately, regarding classical painterly rendering styles—emphasizing nuanced texture, diffuse lighting, and non-photographic composition—the new model underperformed in every evaluation I conducted.
