Have you ever been told to hold your horses? Or to get your ducks in a row? Have you ever made a pig's ear out of something? Or a dog's dinner? Do you have a frog in your throat? And why is no-one talking about the elephant in the room?
There are thousands of idioms in use in the English language. Some of them make sense when you explain them. Others... really don't! And yet we use them anyway. They make our language colourful and interesting.
Your task for this challenge is to depict an idiom as it would be if taken literally.
Remember that many idioms are local to specific countries or regions, and of course there are non-English native speakers here too, so please include the idiom in your picture's title, to help those who might not recognise it.
This is a chance to really be creative and inspired, so let your imagination run wild, and have fun.
As always, no NSFW please.
