Toddrin

Toddrin are restless wanderers, mimicking laughter and weeping in turn, switching emotion as if testing which one fits. They gather near towns during nights of heavy mist, lurking in abandoned nurseries or playgrounds. Though capable of speech, they often repeat phrases they’ve heard from sleeping minds. They feed on emotions—particularly nostalgia and regret—causing memories to fade in those they encounter. In prolonged exposure, victims forget faces, voices, and warmth, left hollow and numb.
