Dinner, printed from atoms

A seared fish, lemon and dill, restaurant light — a dinner that was printed, not caught. In my atomizer film, this plate is where the future stops being abstract: the machine takes components and returns a meal that tastes like a meal, in a room where people are arguing about everything else the machine means. Atoms aren't free, and neither is dinner. But the fish never had to be a fish.

Of everything in that film, this is the frame people would live inside. The rest is economics. This is supper.
