Queen Isla and the Foul Prince

Queen Isla and her husband, King Brodin, loved each other without pause despite the threat of losing the throne due to barrenness. Yet when their prayers finally got answered, it came as a cruel twist of fate. Their lovely prince was born with an extra limb, and thus called foul by the people. One night, the queen got so depressed and angry that she nearly strangled him. But how could she when her prince smiled in joy to see her?

Sadly, love and kindness don’t have a place in the midst of human hatred and politics. Those they trusted poisoned her husband and proceeded to kill her and the prince. In anguish, she locked herself and her baby inside the throne room. The royals and their mob broke in but were turned to ice. This unknown curse spread across the castle and kingdom borders as an eternally frozen testament to human betrayal and sacrilege. The people were not harmed but trapped in the kingdom to thrive. The queen and prince forever ruling them on their frozen throne.
