Those notorious but loveable outlaws, Cat Ballou (Jane Fonda) and Calamity Jane (Jane Russell in "Paleface") have teamed up.

Each actress starred as a loveable female outlaw in a Western comedy film. The films were produced about two decades apart, but what if the leading ladies had been able to co-star in another film? I played around with the idea a bit, and finally came up with this version of it in response to a challenge. (P.S. It occurred to me that I should clarify that the historical "Calamity Jane" -- Martha Jane Canary -- was not considered a notorious outlaw. The "Paleface" version played by Jane Russell was just recycling the name, but essentially was a different character.)
