Crimson X

"Scarlet Watcher displays intelligence and patience far beyond that of ordinary Crimson Cyclopes. It often appears where important events are about to occur, as though it anticipates outcomes before they unfold. During my travels, I observed one spend several nights overlooking a village before a disaster struck nearby. Its resilience borders on supernatural, yet it never relies solely on endurance. Instead, it remains calm and methodical, subtly manipulating situations to gain an advantage. Survivors frequently describe the feeling of being evaluated rather than hunted, which may be the most unsettling aspect of the creature."
