Bavarian Wolpertinger, living in the German Forrest

The Wolpertinger is a Bavarian mythical creature whose exact origin is unclear. It is described and depicted as a mixed creature in various forms, for example as a squirrel mixed rabbit with duck beak and wings.

Bernd E. Ergert, director of the German Hunting and Fishing Museum in Munich, refers to the glassmaker from the village of Wolterding they made Shot glasses that looked like animals. Could be a good guess so.. cheers
