Under One Sky: The Faces of a Changing Britain

Irish Community

Contributions: The Irish community has a long history in the UK, contributing to its industrial growth, arts, and politics. They have been instrumental in shaping the UK's working-class identity and have enriched its cultural landscape through music, literature, and theater.

Challenges: Historically, the Irish community faced discrimination and stereotyping. While progress has been made, remnants of these prejudices persist, and the rise of far-right ideologies threatens to revive such hostilities.
