Who better than Pennywise, the incarnation of evil -- who in Stephen King's masterpiece "It" returns every 28 years -- to illlustrate to you a very Italian superstition?

The Italian idiom “anno bisesto, anno funesto” literally means “leap year, gloomy year”.

It is a popular saying that implies that leap years are unlucky and bring misfortune and calamities. The origin of this expression dates back to ancient Rome, where February was considered a month of mourning and purification.

(I remind you that the last leap year was 2020...)

In the dimly lit confines of a virtual chatroom, a sinister presence lurks, its malevolent gaze fixed on unsuspecting users. Pennywise, the clown, manifests as a digital specter, his icon a haunting reminder of the terrors that await. With every keystroke, he whispers promises of likes and comments and dreams of winning a challenge, weaving a web of manipulation and terror. Users glance nervously at their screens, a sense of unease settling over them as they realize they are not alone. Each message from Pennywise drips with malice, his words a chilling reminder of the darkness that lurks within the digital realm. As the night stretches on, the chatroom becomes a battleground between fear and courage, with each user fighting to overcome the nightmare that has invaded their virtual sanctuary.
