Human beings and deities have different capacities.

Some are more inclined to training and gradual progress, while others have the capacity for instantaneous understanding.

This what is most necessary is taught in congruence with the various capacities.

Atiyoga is total perfection [and this is its literal meaning]: "a" means being in the authentic condition, the fundamental nature that has never had a beginning; "ti" means that this nature is self-perfected, without needing to rely above on a quest; "yoga" refers to the supreme yoga of total perfection.

Speaking about this condition in terms of cause and effect does not conform with knowledge of total perfection.
