Street Life Scene in a Dystopian Sci-Fi Megacity № 6

While it is the stated goal of the corrupt, fascistic regime to achieve perfect homogeneity within the population, in practice there are still a few small ethnic enclaves within the capital city that have been as of yet overlooked by the vultures of development and their gentrification initiatives.

Racial injustice perpetrated by the swollen, ever-present menagerie of police forces is a regular daily occurrence for the residents of these small communities. However, since the population is indeed quite homogenous compared to modern day societies, socioeconomic status continues to be the prime factor governing the presence or absence of discriminatory practices.

The minority communities in the capital live balanced on a life edge. On one side is prosperity but also notoriety, inviting racial abuse, and on the other is the relative anonymity of poverty.
