Jasmine Becket-Griffith

Jasmine Becket-Griffith (1979 – ) is an artist from the USA, who is renowned for her unique style that combines elements of realism with fantasy and the surreal, often referred to as Magic Realism and Pop Surrealism. Her artwork, which primarily features her trademark liquid-eyed maidens, is deeply rooted in fairy, fantasy, and gothic themes. Becket-Griffith works almost exclusively with acrylic paint, applying it on canvas or wood. Her technique involves layering colours from dark to light to give her paintings a deep, eerie feel. She sells her artwork under her own brand “Strangeling”.
