Star-Spangled Banner

Part of my Star-Spangled Banner collection:

So no high-concept stuff here; I simply fed the “Star-Spangled Banner” prompt through my coherent-mode Lovecraftian horror mod package (as opposed to my coherent non-Lovecraftian horror mod preset lol). The result is pretty crazy!

Frankly it looks to me like this is some antediluvian leviathan that somebody accidentally genetically engineered into the form of an enormous, perverse, biohazardous paper shredder..?

And then we also have a bumpy sort of whale-like creature that is either shrouded with the American flag or alternatively actually sports the flag’s colors and pattern as skin coloration… perhaps a form of aposematic coloration saying ‘don’t eat me - I’m poisonous and/or taste abominably!’

Unfortunately for Whaley-Flag, if that is indeed the purpose of the bright American motif, it has failed to dissuade the shredder from its instinctual need to feed!
