This was my very first time in the winner’s circle and it was a total surprise. I had just joined the Voter’s Booth on the Discord channel and asked folks there to vote on my entries. They overwhelmingly picked this one and even though I thought it was too simple to win, I submitted it anyway.

After a long day at work, I remember sitting in my car readying for the drive home. I was exhausted and pulled out my iPad to see if I placed in the DC challenge. I must have stared at the screen for 5 minutes straight not believing my eyes.

So big thanks to the folks on Discord. You’re why I got my first top three win.

Driving home was a breeze after that, btw 😂.
