She stood before the door, but the loudest room was inside her.
Beyond it, beauty smiled like a promise, and she knew beautiful things could still lie.
Her reflection split the floor into three women: the one who survived, the one deciding, and the one waiting to be born. Above her, the butterfly carried tomorrow on wings the cocoon never approved. So before her foot moved, her soul crossed first-because staying was still a choice, and fear was only guarding the life she had outgrown.
