Greta is a character who surfaced in what was barely a subplot in the first draft of this novel but has risen to the point of becoming a secondary plot that gives my male protagonist Davis something to do besides falling in love with Jillian and Tiffany and getting some satisfaction for his elder half-sister from their deadbeat father.
A vile dormmate of Davis's sends out a video he shouldn't that includes a woman whom Davis learns is named Greta, and he seeks her out to alert her to what's going on. Davis doesn't have a lot of faith in the justice system, and Greta has even less, but he tells her if she wants to make the leap of pursuing justice, he'll be there by her side each step of the way.
The character design is modeled after actresses Alisha Boe ("13 Reasons Why"), Hayley Law ("Riverdale"), and Jordan Alexander (the "Gossip Girl" reboot), and the AI ignored my requests for short hair that would be aerodynamic for a runner. Let's assume she likes Angela Davis-themed wigs. :)
