The Fault in Our Stars…

The Fault in Our Stars is an allusion to a line from Shakespeare’s The Tragedy of Julius Ceasar: “Men at some times are masters of their fates: / The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars / But in ourselves.” The line suggests that people are responsible for the misfortunes that befall them but it sometimes feels the opposite is true. Fate, or “the stars,” brings tragedy that no one can see coming or make sense of. The true test is of course how we deal with this…
